A Birthday to Remember

My husband threw me one of those milestone birthday parties.  We won't mention which one.  I debated whether or not to let my four legged friend attend. I figured the excitement with all guests would be too much for her. So, I confined her to the bedroom.

Half way through the evening, my husband decided my friend needed a potty break.  He whisked my friend past the guest, her tail wagging as if all excited, she quickly took a potty break.  Then back upstairs she went where she occasionally let out a yelp, begging to join in on the fun.

After several hours of fun and margaritas the last guest left.  I figured my friend was missing me so, I dashed upstairs to let her out for one more potty break. Waiting patiently for her to potty, I sat on the swing thinking about how good the bed was going to feel.

After 20 minutes my friend was not about to potty. She seemed pretty miffed that all the guest were gone.   So, off to bed we went, at least that is what I thought. When she reached the bedroom she had what looked like a big grin on her face. She jumped on the bed, squatted, and pottied right on my comforter.   A lesson learned... Never p!$% off your friend.
