The world series is underway and the Houston Astros have won the last three games. It has been exciting and we are happy that they will be returning home for the finally. It has been exciting watching baseball as my husband and I are rooting for Houston. Tomorrow evening will be exciting as we keep our fingers crossed that the team can win and declare victory. Way to go Astros way to go.....
It has been five years since we were last on Texas soil and that is a good thing as that means we are enjoying life and feeling healthy. We celebrate the fact that we lived 7 months in Houston to get my husband well and spent 3 years going there every three months for treatment. That's a shout out to MD Anderson. We miss Texas and seeing family but we are happily enjoying live here in the north. We however have that close feeling to the Houston Astros as we love baseball and saw them play several times in Houston.
I guess I'll dig out my Astros T-shirt and get ready for the game tomorrow evening. Where's the popcorn, cracker jacks, and peanuts? I best be going to the store load up on the snacks.

The Beauty Of Fall
This tree is a beautiful depiction of what beauty we enjoy here in the north. My husband and I took this picture last evening on a stroll through the park close to our home. The park had several of these trees. They are smiles from God as flowers are also. I wish this beauty would last through winter.
