There Is A Lot of Legit And Helpful Health Info On Twitter

My passion for writing has not disappeared.  I needed to take a hiatus from writing to enjoy life.  After spending ten months indoors due to our severe cold damp winter,  being outside was very enticing.  It was also very hot and possibly one of the hottest and humid summers we have had in years.   The lawns here look like the dessert for lack of rain and my smiles from God (flowers) have barely held on.  I have watered them everyday and the cooler weather this week has revived them.  I am not complaining about the heat, as the thought of winter makes me feel a little ill.

So what does one do when it is so hot outside beside sip lemonade and stay in the air conditioned house.  I read every morning and my curious mind reads anything and everything about medicine and science.

My obsession with the B12 has lead me to understand very much about my own life and my mother's.  The family is on board with me that we are 100 percent sure that my mother's health issues were from a deficit of B12.  My advocacy for B12 testing and family history has lead other members in the family to be tested.  One has a deficit and is now being treated.  I can't be quiet about it as I am really passionate about living a healthy life.  I suffered too many years to let others suffer.  Quality of life is dependent on correctly diagnosis illness and proper treatment.  I am still hearing from people that even when told they are deficient in B12 and having symptoms that their doctor does not know how to treat them.

I said I would never twitter but I found a wealth of information on twitter about health.  I follow some doctors and some organizations in regards to B12, lymphoma, and the NCI (National Cancer Institute).   The NCI has wealth of information that I felt would have really benefited my husband and I as we journeyed through cancer.  I wish we would have known about the NCI sooner, it perhaps would have made life a little less stressful.  I'll be sharing the NCI with other cancer patients.

I have managed to take my B12 and methyl folate everyday since last October and had to increase my oral dose to get myself in good health.  I am smiling a lot these days as I am feeling well.  I added a new supplement to my daily routine called Biosil as a suggestion of one of my doctors and it has helped me a lot.  It was suggested for my skin and nails, but it has helped with some joint pain.  I am giving it a thumbs up.  I have learned that you have to be patient with getting well and that just popping a vitamin B12 here and there was getting me nowhere.  It is part of my daily routine now along with making sure I eat well to get my other B vitamins.  It feels so good to be calm.  Bye, bye anxiety, fatigue, and tingling sensations.

When quality of life is good the whole world smiles.

Life is beautiful !
